Our Foot Health Practitioners qualified at the prestigious SMAE Institute in Maidenhead. Similar to a Chiropodist, we treat common foot conditions such as athletes foot, fungal nails, ingrown or curved nails, verrucae, corns, callus and cracked heels.
We do not provide HCPC services for routine treatment so you should check with your insurers if you are planning to claim back for treatments.
Close to High Wycombe, Naphill, Walters Ash, Speen and Lacey Green the clinic is accessible by car or public transport.
We are members of the College of Foot Health Professsionals (MCFHP) and a member of the British Association of FHPs (MAFHP)
We are DBS checked, fully insured and will take care of all your clinical foot health needs. A friendly, relaxed and professional environment with driveway parking area.
The clinic is in a private house so please park on the drive. We provide hand gel at the entrance. Payment is required on the day and we accept cash or card only. Our practitioners wear a face mask and PPE kit which is changed after each patient. If you would like to wear a face mask, please bring your own or ask for a disposable one from us. What three words LABELS.SQUAD.SAFETY
Please make a note of any health conditions and medications being taken before your appointment. If possible, remove any nail polish on your toes and wear clothes that allow access to the foot and lower leg. Please do not use talcum powder or any foot powders on your feet prior to your appointment.
Hughenden Valley Foot Clinic provides treatments and advice for common foot conditions including; corn removal, hard skin (callus removal), nail trimming, ingrown nails, fungal nails, thickened and curved nails, athletes foot and fungal infections. We also treat cracked and split heels and have a selection of foot and heel cream for sale in the clinic.
We have had to implement a cancellation policy as "no shows" really affect our business. We know life sometimes gets in the way but there is nothing more frustrating than waiting in fresh PPE for a patient who doesn't turn up.
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to amend or cancel your appointment. This enables us to offer your booking to another patient and for us to keep working.
For no shows or cancellations of less than 24 hours we will ask you to pay for the lost appointment before any further bookings are made.
Caused by the HPV virus, there is no single treatment to remove or "cut out" the verruca. It simply does not work like that as it is a virus that relies on your immune response to get rid of it. We offer reduction of painful skin around the verruca and can help manage any pain. Please read the section on verruca in the blog section which will explain more.
