Your first appointment will be approximately 45 minutes. A full foot health assessment will be completed and a detailed treatment plan for your future foot care discussed with you prior to any treatment.
Your appointment will include treatment of foot conditions such as athletes foot, ingrown nails, hard skin and cracked heels. Your nails will be trimmed and filed if required before cream is applied and treatment finished with a relaxing foot massage.
Depending on the agreed treatment plan, further appointments for follow up routine foot and nail care are advised every 6-8 weeks. These appointments will be 30-40 minutes
Toenail reconstruction for damaged and unsightly nails. Usually the big toe is affected due to some previous damage. Natural looking and suitable for men and women.
We can reconstruct a toenail for you even if one is missing, has been removed or is damaged and unsightly. Ideally there should be a small portion of nail to attach to. These can be painted with normal nail varnish.
Other nails can also be reconstructed for £5 each.
Damaged by trauma, fungal nail infections or just unsightly nails can be easily reconstructed. The reconstruction can be painted by you and nail varnish removed or can be left natural looking or finished with a high gloss. These usually last 2-3 months but cannot be guaranteed as they are dependant on how you look after them.
First appointment includes topical treatment
The first appointment includes an assessment of both feet and confirmation of a verruca. First treatment and topical treatment if suitable, for you to take home.
A 20 minute follow on appointment for verrucas. Usually every 2-4 weeks.
The affected nail is reduced to allow treatment to reach the skin underneath where the fungus is active. Appointments required every 6-8 weeks to keep the nail thin. Patient applies topical treatment once a week at home The ointment is an additional £30.
This needs to applied once a week by the patient at home in between appointments.
Musculoskeletal Assessments for painful feet and joints.
Toenail surgery using local anaesthetic (you are awake but will not feel anything) to remove the spike of nail that is causing the issue. Return visit in 7-10 days time for check and re dressing, followed by a free nail cut and file within 30 days so you know how to prevent reoccurrence in other nails in the future. Price is for one side of the toe. Additional sides/toes £150.
Needling for verruca or corns-conducted using local anaesthetic. Includes a follow up visit 2 weeks later for debridement of the area and re dressing. Further follow up appointment 3 months later.
